Key Responsibilities

• Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, managing both cash and credit transactions.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and deliver prompt, friendly service.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffees, teas, and specialty drinks according to established guidelines.
• Assist with food item preparation, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Maintain and balance cash drawers, complete cashier paperwork, and handle deposits as required.
• Comply with cash handling and operational protocols.
• Set up and take down barista stations, ensuring all areas are sanitized and orderly.
• Keep workstations and customer service areas clean and sanitary at all times.
• Restock beverages, snacks, and necessary supplies regularly.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards for food and beverages.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is advantageous.
• Experience handling cash transactions is an asset.
• Previous barista experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform basic math and counting functions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must adhere to designated dress codes.
• Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English; able to follow recipes accurately.
• Willingness to complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This position involves physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing.
• May require uniform dress and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
