Key Responsibilities

  • Discover and cultivate new business prospects across commercial, civil, and defense sectors within the space industry.
  • Oversee the entire business development process, from identifying leads and managing pipelines to negotiating and finalizing contracts.
  • Maintain robust relationships with essential stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • Create and present compelling presentations, proposals, and responses to solicitations such as RFPs, RFIs, BAAs, SBIR/STTRs.
  • Work closely with internal teams including engineering, finance, and strategy to ensure alignment between customer needs and company capabilities.
  • Support the formation of strategic partnerships, collaborations, and discussions around MOUs or joint ventures.
  • Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and relevant space industry policies.
  • Represent iRocket at industry conferences, events, and networking platforms.
  • Participate actively in strategic planning and contribute to initiatives aimed at long-term company growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or technical degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' professional experience in business development, sales, or strategy roles; prior work in aerospace, defense, or technology sectors is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success managing significant partnerships or contracts.
  • Knowledgeable about government contracting procedures, proposal development, and funding mechanisms involving agencies such as NASA, DoD, and DARPA.
  • Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation.
  • Ability to build and sustain trustful relationships with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
