Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Baker to be the heart of our bakery. This role starts very early (as early as 3AM) and involves preparing our signature bagels and pastries. You’ll help maintain the quality of our baked goods by stocking the bagel wall and pastry cases each shift. Bakers also collaborate with the team by assisting in order taking and sandwich preparation, ensuring excellent guest service. Maintaining a clean and safe store environment is key, alongside safeguarding the quality of all food and beverages provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bagels and pastries daily starting early morning hours
• Stock baked goods for customer access each shift
• Support team with customer orders and sandwich assembly
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store environment
• Uphold high standards in food and beverage quality

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work varying shifts including early mornings and weekends
• Successful completion of any required background checks
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred but only mandatory at specific locations
• Compliance with tip eligibility rules depending on state regulations

Physical & Work Environment

This role requires both sitting and standing, along with bending, lifting, and moving as needed throughout the shift. Reasonable accommodations can be made for these physical tasks. Responsibilities may be updated or changed by management as necessary.
