Job description
Job Purpose
The role entails overseeing the organization's information security and networking operations to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and enforce policies related to network security and information protection.
- Continuously monitor security infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management platforms.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, National Cybersecurity Authority regulations, and internal organizational policies.
- Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents to mitigate risks effectively.
- Handle management of vendor contracts and service level agreements to support security operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of eight years' professional experience in the domains of information security and network management.
- Possession of certifications such as CISSP, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
