Software Project Manager (Microsoft, ERP, CRM)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to join our Project Resourcing & Delivery team, specializing in implementing software projects using web, mobile, and platform applications. This position focuses on Microsoft and Salesforce technologies and leading Low Code platforms. Our company is a recognized Salesforce partner, Gold Certified for Azure Cloud and Application Development, and a Microsoft Solutions provider. The role is fully remote and available to applicants residing in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects from initiation to completion, including medium to large-scale projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and budget.
• Collaborate with customers to define project goals, scope, and objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Communicate project milestones and dependencies with customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate and lead daily project team activities.
• Maintain adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and documentation.
• Provide clear progress reports and escalate issues to senior management when necessary.
• Support development teams during implementation by clarifying requirements and facilitating customer coordination.
• Utilize Software Development Lifecycle tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, and SharePoint for requirement tracking.
• Promote high customer engagement and quality service standards.
• Pursue relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ScrumMaster through ongoing training.
• Adhere to and advocate for ISO27001 and ISO9001 policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience managing large or multiple software/platform projects.
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring project finances.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with project management software tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and effectively present technical information.
• Ability to design strategic roadmaps and coordinate deliverables for successful project completion.
• Collaborative team leadership and problem-solving skills to implement innovative solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and in a team.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and platforms.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Scrum Master certification or equivalent.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Azure/cloud computing concepts.
• Experience using JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of software engineering principles.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or a diploma in computer science or a related field.
