About the Role

Become an integral part of Jasara Program Management Company as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, playing a vital role in guiding construction projects from inception to completion through effective financial and contractual management. Your expertise will help ensure optimal allocation of resources, cost efficiency, and successful project delivery aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of quantity surveying throughout the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, and finalization.
• Develop comprehensive estimates, prepare bills of quantities, and compile tender documentation tailored to project specifics.
• Lead cost management activities, perform periodic cost evaluations, and identify opportunities to reduce expenses strategically.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other key stakeholders to maintain alignment on budget and project objectives.
• Handle contractual negotiations, variation claims, and ensure timely resolution of any contractual matters.
• Regularly visit construction sites to monitor progress and verify adherence to technical specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent discipline.
• Have at least 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying specifically within the construction sector.
• Hold recognized professional accreditation such as MRICS or an equivalent qualification favored.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control methodologies.
• Be proficient with relevant industry software tools utilized in quantity surveying and project management.
• Exhibit strong analytical capabilities combined with exceptional attention to detail.
• Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members.
