Role Overview
The Teaming@BCG unit is dedicated to advancing BCG's mission by enhancing team performance, fostering client value, and supporting professional and personal growth. This role involves coaching high-performing case teams in alignment with core values of Value Focus, Team Trust, and Growth Mindset to ensure excellence in client outcomes and sustainable collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach case teams adopting the OneBCG methodology to optimize team dynamics and output.
- Facilitate high-impact team coaching across all project cases, promoting inclusivity and trust.
- Engage with MDPs and Case Leaders to proactively identify and enhance team performance opportunities.
- Maintain robust partnerships with MDP coaches through regular portfolio assessments and coordinated case onboarding.
- Conduct thorough individual and group coaching sessions to diagnose challenges and propagate effective solutions.
- Act as a catalyst for embedding company-wide initiatives such as Amplify Impact and Integrity within team practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to address complex team-related issues and enforce resolution strategies.
- Promote a culture of collaboration by sharing best practices across teams and regions.
- Support additional strategic and operational Teaming projects as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years professional experience with progressive leadership or coaching roles.
- Proven ability in team management or executive coaching within multidisciplinary settings.
- Fluent English communication skills for effective coaching across teams.
- Experience living or working in Africa to understand regional cultural context.
- Consulting experience, preferably within BCG, with a minimum 2 years in team leadership is advantageous but not mandatory.
- French proficiency is a plus for coaching teams in North African offices.

- Capacity to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with a problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication abilities, adept at virtual and hybrid team environments.
- Innovation mindset with commitment to enhancing ways of working like Amplify Impact.
- Passionate about cultivating high-performance teams and fostering people development.
Collaboration and Interaction
- Work closely with consulting case teams, including Managing Directors/Principals (MDPs).
- Engage with regional and system-wide Teaming leadership and people management units.
- Collaborate with global Teaming, Amplify Impact teams, and associated technical and HR product groups.
- Coordinate with pilot user groups and various BCG functions such as Learning & Development, Staffing, Marketing, and Recruitment.
