About the Opportunity

This role is for a proactive HR leader who will guide people operations through a period of rapid expansion. As a broad-scope HR generalist, you will take ownership of the employee journey from start to finish and work closely with leadership to create efficient, scalable processes and a strong employee experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance and payroll activities across multiple states, run end-to-end payroll in Rippling, and keep records organized and audit-ready.
  • Lead recruiting from job description development through hiring and onboarding, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Administer employee benefits, create engagement initiatives, and help support learning and development efforts.
  • Act as the go-to HR partner for managers by coaching them on performance management, policies, and related people matters.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, including at least 2 years working as a generalist across multiple HR functions.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws in California and Arizona is mandatory.
  • Experience using Rippling HRIS is preferred.
  • Background in a fast-growing company or startup is preferred.
  • Must be available for full-time work during Pacific Time business hours.
  • Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
