About the Role
The Public Relations Account Coordinator will play a vital supporting role across multiple client accounts within a dynamic agency setting. This position involves assisting Account Managers and senior leadership by managing client communication, media relations, and internal coordination. The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter with excellent writing skills and a passion for media, culture, and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for several clients in parenting, wellness, lifestyle, and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors.
- Attend client meetings and prepare agendas, summaries, and internal documentation.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for product launches, campaigns, and creative pitches.
- Maintain awareness of all client projects including launch timelines and activations.
- Manage client trackers, schedules, and product inventories efficiently.
- Assist with monthly and special client reporting tasks.
- Develop and update editorial contact lists and assist in drafting clear, persuasive media pitches.
- Conduct daily media monitoring and assemble press coverage reports.
- Support ongoing media outreach across diverse verticals such as consumer, lifestyle, parenting, wellness, business, and affiliates.
- Write, edit, and proofread client-facing materials and internal briefing documents.
- Create simple visual aids and presentation decks using tools like Canva.
- Research media outlets, influencers, current trends, and relevant news cycles to inform strategy.
- Remain up-to-date on industry insights, media developments, and cultural moments pertinent to clients.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a similar agency role.
- Strong writing skills focused on crafting compelling and relevant pitches.
- Interest or competency in design and visual storytelling, especially utilizing Canva for pitch and presentation materials.
- Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and consistent follow-through.
- Adept at managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrates a collaborative attitude, proactive engagement, and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional client relationships.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience supporting multiple accounts in PR or communications.
- Familiarity with media monitoring and database platforms such as Muck Rack.
- Strong research abilities and organizational aptitude.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications or a related discipline.
