Role Overview
The Partner Marketing Manager will spearhead initiatives that enhance partner collaboration by crafting and executing joint marketing approaches with strategic partners, resellers, distributors, and technology alliances. The role aims to drive co-marketing campaigns, enable partners effectively, and generate demand to foster mutual business advancement. Ideal candidates have substantial background in partner and alliance marketing, channel strategies, demand generation, and market entry techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement partner marketing plans aligned with overall growth targets
- Create and oversee joint marketing campaigns with key partners and alliances
- Collaborate with sales, product, and partner teams to launch go-to-market strategies
- Develop enablement resources such as campaign toolkits, sales materials, and co-branded content
- Plan demand generation efforts with partners including distributors and resellers
- Manage marketing budgets, market development funds, and monitor campaign effectiveness
- Evaluate engagement metrics, pipeline impact, ROI, and growth indicators from partner activities
- Cultivate strong partnerships through consistent communication and strategic alignment
- Organize webinars, events, product launches, and joint promotional campaigns
- Identify new partnership prospects and propose strategies for expansion
- Maintain brand cohesion in all partner marketing initiatives
- Present performance reports and strategic insights to executive leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sales, or similar fields
- Five to ten-plus years’ experience in partner marketing, alliance management, channel marketing, B2B marketing, or demand generation
- Proven track record in managing strategic marketing partnerships and joint campaigns
- Deep understanding of partner ecosystems, indirect sales channels, and go-to-market models
- Strong communication, relationship management, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Ability to perform independently in a fully remote setting
- Commercially minded with strategic planning abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree such as MBA or equivalent in relevant disciplines
- Experience in SaaS, cloud computing, enterprise software, cybersecurity, telecommunications, or technology sectors
- Knowledge of partner lifecycle management, account-based marketing (ABM), demand generation, and partner enablement techniques
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar platforms
- Experience managing global partner ecosystems and international marketing efforts
- Fluent in English
