Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Implementation, Improvement & Sustainability Manager to advance a key Stock Management Change Programme within the Trust. This role is newly established to drive supply chain transformation, enhance inventory management workflows, and increase operational effectiveness across both clinical and non-clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout and ongoing enhancement of inventory management systems throughout clinical departments.
- Manage change initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to support Trust-wide supply chain transformation efforts.
- Create and deliver comprehensive training, user manuals, standard operating procedures, and provide coaching to operational teams.
- Foster strong collaborations with clinicians, ward managers, operations leaders, Digital and Finance teams.
- Ensure system usage, stock accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to Trust governance and standards.
- Analyse operational and inventory metrics to uncover efficiency improvements, reduce waste, and boost stock control and visibility.
- Assist in audit activities, service evaluations, governance processes, and benefits tracking.
- Diagnose and resolve operational and system issues, contributing to upgrades and process improvements.
- Offer operational leadership and expert guidance to support ongoing service enhancements and sustainability efforts.
- Promote a culture focused on continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, and delivering high-quality services.
