Role Overview
Greater Wellington seeks a skilled HR Coordinator to join its Advisory Services Team, working alongside one other coordinator. This permanent full-time role is located in central Wellington and emphasizes comprehensive administrative, coordination, and process support related to both HR and recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries through the central HR inbox, sharing this task with the fellow HR Coordinator.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including vacancy advertising, onboarding, and supporting hiring managers.
- Prepare employment-related documentation such as letters and agreements.
- Coordinate onboarding, employee transitions, and offboarding procedures.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant legislation.
- Provide occasional generalist HR assistance to Advisory Services team members.
- Promote self-service among employees and educate on available solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous position as an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or Recruitment Coordinator is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and New Zealand employment law.
- Ability to follow procedures while remaining adaptable to various situations.
- Capability to manage heavy workloads and proactively prioritize competing tasks.
- High confidentiality and integrity in managing sensitive information.
- Excellent customer service and confident communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with TechOne and DocuSign is advantageous.
- Holding a tertiary HR qualification is preferred but not compulsory.

Additional Information

Remuneration ranges between $72,401 and $108,602 NZD annually, depending on experience and skills, with a midpoint of $90,501.
