Food & Beverage Manager

About the Role

We seek a proactive and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee café and banquet operations at Kosmic Kingdom in Gurugram. The role demands ensuring top-notch food quality, efficient day-to-day management, excellent guest services, and profitable F&B outcomes while upholding stringent hygiene and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across Café and Birthday Party F&B services.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration between kitchen, service, and event teams.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service excellence, especially during peak times and private functions.
• Guarantee punctual food delivery for parties and group reservations.
• Recruit, train, and lead kitchen and service staff, managing schedules and attendance.
• Conduct ongoing hospitality, hygiene, food safety, and customer service trainings.
• Monitor staff performance and formulate improvement strategies.
• Control inventory by forecasting needs, minimizing waste, conducting stock audits, and ensuring proper storage.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate quality and pricing, and verify incoming goods.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI and food safety norms, maintain cleanliness, and monitor storage conditions.
• Drive financial targets by controlling food and beverage costs, analyzing sales, and reducing wastage.
• Deliver excellent guest services, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Coordinate banquet and birthday party food services, ensuring buffet, live counters, and table service meet standards.
• Ensure all statutory licenses are valid and safety protocols are adhered to, including equipment inspections and audit documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality.
• 4 to 8 years' experience in food and beverage within restaurants, cafés, hotels, banquets, or family entertainment centers.
• Experience in managing birthday party events and banquet operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of FSSAI regulations and food safety compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and restaurant POS systems.
• Leadership, communication, inventory control, vendor negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining high hygiene standards.
