About the Role
Jovie is seeking compassionate, flexible caregivers to join their on-call nanny team. This role involves providing in-home child care for various families, focusing on children from infancy through toddlerhood, with the most demand for children under 2 years. Candidates with experience as babysitters, daycare workers, church nursery volunteers, retired teachers or teaching professionals wanting a smaller setting are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, in-home care for children without transportation duties.
- Maintain cleanliness limited to tidying activities or meals related to the child’s care.
- Create a safe, engaging environment with age-appropriate hands-on activities tailored to children’s developmental stages.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay ranging from $22 to $25.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Experience interacting with children is required, with mandatory experience caring for infants.
- Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple homes in the region.
- Availability to work at least three weekdays per week, with shifts lasting 6 to 8 hours scheduled anytime between 7 am and 7 pm.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor essential to maintain positive connections with families and supervisors.
