Overview
Pivotal Sec Plus, recognized as the largest independent volume cash carrier in the UK and Ireland, services diverse clients such as regional and national retailers, local governments, and financial institutions. The company prioritizes safety and security, maintaining service performance levels of 99% or higher.
All new driver hires are required to complete a four-day residential training program based in Staffordshire at the company’s dedicated Training Centre. This course provides nationally recognized Level 2 qualifications in Cash and Valuables In Transit operations and an SIA licence, both fully supported and funded by the employer.
Key Duties
- Operate 3.5-tonne vehicles for the collection and delivery of cash and valuables.
- Handle and transport customers’ items safely and securely.
- Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships by providing professional service.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Ensure high standards of customer service throughout all tasks.
- Cover routes ranging from short to long distances with varying daily schedules.
- Regular manual handling tasks as part of daily duties.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable trustworthiness, responsibility, and a methodical work ethic.
- Possession of a valid full UK driving license with at least two years of driving experience.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries is desirable but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- A verifiable 10-year work history, or school leaving age applicants.
- Willingness and flexibility in working hours and patterns.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Capability to adhere to instructions and meet deadlines reliably.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of £13.37.
- Double pay rates on bank holidays.
