About the Role
Pivotal Sec Plus operates as a cash transit company across England, Scotland, and Wales and is currently hiring a Vault Custodian at their Cardiff depot. The role entails managing busy depot activities, maintaining communication with drivers, handling calls from both internal and external customers, delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating route planning, and ensuring smooth operations. The position also requires covering for road crew as necessary.
Work Hours and Shifts
The role involves working five shifts per week, which may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekend hours. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to accommodate the business’s scheduling needs. Specific shift timings will be discussed during the interview process.
Training and Physical Requirements
Although prior experience is not mandatory, comprehensive paid training will be provided through a specialized training center and personalized one-on-one sessions at the depot. The position requires physical fitness due to heavy lifting responsibilities and necessitates adherence to company safety protocols to maintain safe working conditions.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid full UK driving license with a minimum of two years’ driving experience
- Ability to provide a ten-year verifiable work history
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Successful clearance of basic checks, including credit, identity, and criminal record verification
- Punctuality and reliability in adhering to scheduled roster times
- Professional and tidy appearance
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Competence in safe manual handling techniques
- Trustworthiness and dependability
