Role Purpose and Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at TSF, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and sharing data related to TSF’s various programs to facilitate informed decision-making and measure impact. This role demands a meticulous approach, strong organizational abilities, and enthusiasm for leveraging data to foster positive social change.

• Design and implement data collection frameworks across programs, ensuring prompt and accurate data gathering.
• Handle database management, organization, and upkeep.
• Perform routine data audits and visit project sites to resolve discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
• Create reports, interactive dashboards, and visual data representations; conduct periodic data analyses to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with program teams for the timely delivery of Management Information System (MIS) reports and presentations.
• Provide training and assistance to program staff on data handling and report creation.
• Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy policies in line with TSF’s security guidelines.
• Assist with both internal and external audits concerning data governance and reporting accuracy.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably within the development sector or CSR-related data management.

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated capability in data management, coordination, reporting, and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data cleansing, pivot tables, Power Query, macros, Visual Basic, and statistical analyses.
• Familiarity with MIS software, databases, and statistical tools like SPSS is advantageous.
• Knowledge of data visualization software such as Power BI is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail.
• Effective communicator capable of clearly presenting findings.
