Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Data Analyst to deepen their expertise in healthcare claims, payer analytics, and reimbursement frameworks. This role involves supporting analysis of medical and pharmacy claims data to inform contract negotiations, provider reimbursement approaches, and sales strategies. Under the mentorship of seasoned professionals, you will develop a strong understanding of payer systems, Medicare reimbursements, fee schedules, and healthcare financial modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical and pharmacy claims data to detect patterns, cost influencers, and areas for financial improvement.
• Assist provider contracting and payer teams by collecting and summarizing data related to reimbursement models, pricing policies, and fee schedules.
• Create and maintain financial models assessing payer effectiveness, reimbursement tactics, and cost control measures.
• Collaborate with sales and contracting departments by providing customized data extracts and reports for business expansion efforts.
• Utilize Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial claims data to monitor reimbursement trends and regulatory updates.
• Develop and update visual reports and dashboards using SQL and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau to highlight critical business metrics.
• Evaluate financial outcomes of alternative payment models, value-based care initiatives, and provider incentive programs.
• Conduct data quality validations to guarantee accuracy and reliability in claims analysis.
• Coordinate with internal teams to enhance claims processing procedures, ensure payment accuracy, and improve operational workflows.

Candidate Profile

• 0 to 2 years’ experience in healthcare claims analysis, payer analytics, or a related domain; relevant internships or academic projects are also considered.
• Basic knowledge of Medicare and commercial payer reimbursement structures with eagerness to learn reimbursement methodologies practically.
• Exposure to medical and pharmacy claims data and healthcare financial principles is advantageous; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying; familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is beneficial.
• Interest or experience in leveraging AI technologies for workflow automation.
• Any background in contract negotiation, network management, or provider relationship management is a plus.
• Strong communication abilities to effectively convey data insights to various stakeholders.
