About Native American Rights Fund (NARF)

NARF is a longstanding 501(c)(3) legal organization founded in 1970 and headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, with additional offices in Washington, D.C., and Anchorage, Alaska. Position Overview

The Native American Rights Fund is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its leadership team. This role will be pivotal in advancing and shaping the organization's operational strategies during a period of significant growth, including recent expansions in budget and staffing. The COO will oversee critical departments such as Finance & Accounting, Development, Information Technology, Facilities, Human Resources, and Communications, driving cross-functional alignment and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to strengthen organizational infrastructure and capacity.
  • Oversee and coordinate Finance & Accounting, Development, IT, Facilities, HR, and Communications.
