Role Overview
The Workers' Compensation Case Manager will manage all facets of workers' compensation claims for injured employees within a self-insured framework. Responsibilities include coordinating medical treatments, implementing return-to-work initiatives, and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and policies. You will collaborate closely with medical professionals, employees, and management to maintain a safe and productive workplace.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Nursing, or related discipline preferred.
- At least two years of workers' compensation case management experience, ideally in a self-insured setting.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of workers' compensation legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of handling multiple cases simultaneously with effective prioritization.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate complex information and make decisions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude to identify issues and deliver timely solutions.
- Empathy and understanding toward the challenges injured workers encounter.
