Role Overview
We seek an accomplished and target-driven Strategic Account Manager to support our APAC expansion strategy. This role involves managing crucial client accounts spanning various industries within a dynamic and entrepreneurial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and secure new high-value clients across prominent international markets.
- Manage the entire sales process, including lead generation, outreach, solution design, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified business prospects by leveraging market research, networking, partnerships, and industry insights.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to develop customized solutions that align with client needs.
- Act as the company’s representative at industry gatherings, conferences, and networking events to boost lead generation and brand presence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B business development or sales roles, preferably within fintech, payments, PSPs, cross-border solutions, or merchant acquiring sectors.
- Possess an established network of mid-sized and large merchant clients, particularly in e-commerce, gaming, social media, and AI/technology industries.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and meeting or exceeding revenue or acquisition goals.
- Strong commercial insight with comprehensive knowledge of payment processes, acquiring models, and cross-border settlement systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities capable of influencing senior-level decision makers.
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an evolving, fast-paced growth environment.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to undertake business travel as necessary.
