This Barista opportunity is based at Colchester Station in Cafe Local. The role sits within SSP’s lively hospitality environment, serving customers in a busy travel location and contributing to a welcoming coffee shop experience.

Pay and hours

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour. This position is part time with 16 hours available. Operating hours run from 5:00am to 8:00pm, and the working pattern includes weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays. A start time of 5:00am is required.

What the role involves

• Preparing drinks and learning a range of beverages and product details.
• Sharing menu and product information with customers and tailoring drinks to individual requests.
• Providing friendly, efficient service that leaves customers with a positive experience.
• Keeping the café area clean, tidy, and inviting throughout the day.

• You are comfortable working flexibly across early starts, weekends, and holiday periods.
• Because of some duties and shift requirements, applicants must be 18 years old or above.
