Overview
Our partner company based in Germany seeks a B2C Growth Product Manager to spearhead growth initiatives for a consumer-focused digital marketplace. This role requires leading strategies across user acquisition, activation, and monetization by leveraging data-driven technologies and working closely with product, analytics, marketing, and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the growth product strategy targeting acquisition, activation, engagement, and monetization metrics.
- Design, conduct, and analyze A/B experiments to validate assumptions and enhance key growth indicators.
- Perform funnel and user behavior analyses, market research, and performance assessments to discover growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with data teams to build measurement frameworks, define success metrics, and utilize insights for product decisions.
- Lead user research efforts including surveys, interviews, usability studies, and customer journey evaluations to gain deep user understanding.
- Convert qualitative and quantitative research findings into actionable product improvements.
- Work alongside engineering throughout the product lifecycle from discovery through launch.
- Assess product opportunities considering technical feasibility, commercial impact, profitability, demand, and risks.
- Ensure alignment and clear communication among product, business, marketing, development, and data stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of experimentation, best practices, and data-focused decision-making within product teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of dedicated Growth Product Management experience, or 5 years managing B2C products, or 7 years in overall Product Management roles.
- Proven history of achieving measurable growth via product initiatives and data-driven experiments.
- Expertise designing, executing, and interpreting A/B testing independently with actionable recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with diverse user research methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and journey mapping.
- Competence in exploratory data analysis, mining, and basic statistics coupled with the ability to formulate analytics questions.
- Strong familiarity with marketplace products, digital platforms, or consumer technology sectors preferred.
- Sufficient technical knowledge to effectively collaborate with engineers and data teams.
- Outstanding communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills to convey complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
- Proficient English communication abilities at C1 level or higher.
- Self-motivated and independent, capable of managing ambiguous situations and leading impactful projects.
