Job Overview
We seek an enthusiastic and goal-driven Academic Counselor to assist students in selecting appropriate courses and exploring career options by providing expert guidance. The candidate should excel in communication and possess a strong interest in both counseling and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with students through calls, chats, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Assess students' requirements to recommend relevant courses and programs.
- Convert prospective inquiries into confirmed admissions via persistent follow-ups.
- Keep an organized database of leads and monitor their progress.
- Offer precise details about courses, fees, and future career opportunities.
- Address objections and resolve student questions efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth admission procedures.
- Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets.
Required Skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Basic proficiency with MS Excel and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Capability to perform well under pressure and meet targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline, preferably Education or Psychology.
- Fresh graduates with solid communication capabilities are welcome.
- Prior exposure to EdTech, counseling, or sales sectors is advantageous.
