Workbook Evaluator - Remote Contract Position

About the Role

Mercor, a San Francisco-based company that partners exceptional creative and technical professionals with top AI research laboratories, is seeking a Spreadsheet QA / Workbook Evaluator. Our investors include Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess AI-generated spreadsheets, slide presentations, and documents according to specific quality standards.
• Detect and document factual inaccuracies, design flaws, and formatting issues in various digital materials.
• Deliver detailed, well-organized feedback to enhance the precision and quality of artificial intelligence outputs.
• Engage closely with AI research teams to refine model effectiveness and improve the training datasets.
• Operate independently and asynchronously to fulfill deliverables within set timelines.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in Spreadsheet Quality Assurance or workbook maintenance roles.
• Fluent in English at a native or professional working level.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Office suite as well as Google Workspace applications, with emphasis on slide decks.
• Preferred candidates hold advanced degrees (Master’s or above) from recognized institutions.

Additional Information

• This is a contract role offering compensation ranging between $80 and $120 per hour.
