Warehouse Assistant - Quality Control (Operations, Shared Services)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant specialized in Quality Control to join our operations team within Shared Business Services. This role involves conducting inspections to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP), identifying quality issues, and supporting investigations to resolve operational discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Randomly inspect parcels to verify compliance with established SOPs.
• Detect any quality-related problems and communicate findings to the supervisor promptly.
• Support the investigation of operational errors and issues as necessary.
• Recognize recurring errors and contribute to efforts aimed at preventing their recurrence.
• Perform various ad-hoc warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum educational attainment of Secondary School or NITEC qualification in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
• Preferably at least three months of experience working in warehouse, logistics, e-commerce, or analogous environments.
• Comfortable working within a warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies accurately.
• Basic problem-solving capabilities and ability to track and address operational matters.
• Competent in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Physically capable of lifting and handling packages weighing up to 15kg as required.
• Willingness to work on a five-day shift schedule that includes weekends.
• Prior experience handling inventory in logistics or e-commerce operations is an advantage.
