About the Role

Evolve Psychiatry is looking for a dedicated and empathetic Remote Therapist Receptionist to join their expanding team of licensed therapists. This position acts as the main administrative liaison for therapy patients, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from their initial contact through ongoing treatment sessions.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
• Manage scheduling tasks including setting, confirming, and adjusting appointments via the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Verify patients' insurance details and handle copayment collections.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with therapists, patients, and internal staff members.
• Protect sensitive patient information with strict confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience as a medical receptionist, ideally supporting therapists directly.
• Background in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records software and solid computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks in a remote work setting.
