About the Role

Evolve Psychiatry is looking for a dedicated and empathetic Remote Therapist Receptionist to join their expanding team of licensed therapists. This position acts as the main administrative liaison for therapy patients, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from their initial contact through ongoing treatment sessions.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
Manage scheduling tasks including setting, confirming, and adjusting appointments via the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Verify patients' insurance details and handle copayment collections.
Maintain clear and effective communication with therapists, patients, and internal staff members.
Protect sensitive patient information with strict confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications

Prior work experience as a medical receptionist, ideally supporting therapists directly.
Background in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred.
Familiarity with electronic medical records software and solid computer skills.
Strong organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks in a remote work setting.
