About the Role
At ASB, our mission is to help customers advance through delivering simple, secure, and dependable digital services. To support our ongoing technology investments and transformation initiatives, we are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Test Lead to provide strategic leadership in testing and quality assurance across some of our largest and most complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end testing outcomes across significant programmes.
- Collaborate with engineering, delivery, architecture, vendors, and business leaders to embed quality from inception.
- Develop and maintain enterprise test strategies, plans, and quality frameworks.
- Promote modern engineering and DevOps practices, including shift-left testing, automation, and non-functional performance testing.
- Oversee test teams spanning multiple squads and workstreams, mentoring testers and growing organizational testing capabilities.
- Manage testing risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure transparency via meaningful reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure proper testing environments, tools, and resources.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and audit requirements by ensuring test artifacts meet high standards.
Candidate Profile
- Deep experience in software testing, particularly leading testing on large enterprise programmes.
- Strong hands-on skills in test automation and performance testing.
- Solid understanding of current engineering methodologies including DevOps, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Demonstrated capacity in risk management pertaining to testing activities.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and driving results.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop testing teams effectively.
- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification is a plus.
