Customer & Operations Consultant

Role Overview

We're seeking a full-time Rental Operations Agent to join the team at Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown. This position combines customer interaction with hands-on vehicle operations, providing a dynamic work environment beyond desk duties.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Permanent role with 40 hours weekly (five 8-hour shifts)
• Work hours vary, including early mornings from 8 am, afternoons, evenings until 6:30 pm, weekends, and public holidays on a rotating roster

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers at the counter, handling rentals, contracts, bookings, and promoting products and services
• Inspect vehicles for damage and maintenance needs
• Drive, park, and clean vehicles (inside and out) to prepare them for customers

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a valid, full, clean class 1 driver's license
• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or related fields preferred
• Ability to maintain exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable learning multiple computer systems; training will be provided
• Adherence to company procedures and standards is essential
