About the Role

Royal York Property Management, a prominent property management firm overseeing numerous residential rentals across Ontario, seeks dedicated and meticulous Cleaners to expand its team. This position entails performing a variety of cleaning tasks including move-in and move-out cleans, vacant unit turnovers, and routine housekeeping for occupied homes. Cleaners will independently travel to appointments and ensure that all cleaning meets the company's high standards.

Key Duties

• Carry out thorough move-in and move-out cleaning for rental residences
• Conduct detailed cleaning for vacant units during turnovers
• Provide regular housekeeping services in homes that are occupied
• Clean all main areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, floors, and common surfaces
• Attend to detailed cleaning tasks such as baseboards, cabinet interiors, and appliances
• Utilize a mobile application for job assignment management, GPS navigation, photo submissions, and job status updates
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards
• Report any property damage, maintenance issues, or uncleanable areas
• Travel between work sites using own vehicle

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of paid experience in professional cleaning roles
• Proficient in both turnover and regular housekeeping cleaning duties
• Own reliable vehicle for transportation and carrying cleaning supplies
• Possess all necessary cleaning equipment and supplies
• Have a smartphone capable of running work-related mobile applications with GPS, camera, and communication functionalities
• Comfortable working independently and following detailed cleaning protocols
• Basic proficiency in English for communication
• Dependable and punctual, able to meet GPS-verified arrival times
