Overview

We are actively looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join our Supply Chain Solutions team in Ladson, SC. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000, with mid-shift hours from Sunday to Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Our company provides diverse experiences and advancement opportunities within a Fortune 500 industry leader.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage daily logistics operations by supervising and coordinating teams
Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to plan and review logistics workflows, ensuring they meet company and customer standards
Organize work schedules and procedures to optimize shift and team effectiveness
Take ownership of site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Work closely with customers on operational matters
Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to track progress, provide coaching, and acknowledge achievements
Promote team cohesion through diversity and inclusion initiatives and seek improvements in internal processes
Perform employee evaluations and recommend merit-based rewards or adjustments
Handle performance issues through corrective and disciplinary actions as necessary
Understand and uphold labor agreements, maintaining positive employee relations
Implement and enforce health, safety, security practices, and company policies
Provide comprehensive orientation and necessary resources to staff and lead personnel

Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED completion required
Preferred: At least one year of experience in transportation, warehousing, or distribution
