Core responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on maintenance, condition checks, and testing for 400/132kV transmission substation equipment.
• Work with gas insulated switchgears, power transformers, shunt reactors, and related auxiliary systems.
• Operate SF6 gas handling equipment and oil filtration machinery as part of maintenance activities.
• Read and apply electrical drawings accurately during field work and switching activities.
• Support circuit energization and de-energization tasks while following permit-to-work requirements.
• Respond to technical issues, review alarm indications, identify root causes, and resolve faults effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years and up to 7 years of relevant experience in substation equipment maintenance.
• Practical exposure to maintenance and testing of 400/132kV transmission substation assets.
• Experience using SF6 gas handling systems and oil filtration machines.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and support switching operations safely.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work procedures and safe energization/de-energization practices.
• Good troubleshooting ability for technical complaints and alarm-related issues.
• Diploma-level qualification.
• Excellent command of English.
