Core responsibilities
- Carry out hands-on maintenance, condition checks, and testing for 400/132kV transmission substation equipment.
- Work with gas insulated switchgears, power transformers, shunt reactors, and related auxiliary systems.
- Operate SF6 gas handling equipment and oil filtration machinery as part of maintenance activities.
- Read and apply electrical drawings accurately during field work and switching activities.
- Support circuit energization and de-energization tasks while following permit-to-work requirements.
- Respond to technical issues, review alarm indications, identify root causes, and resolve faults effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years and up to 7 years of relevant experience in substation equipment maintenance.
- Practical exposure to maintenance and testing of 400/132kV transmission substation assets.
- Experience using SF6 gas handling systems and oil filtration machines.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and support switching operations safely.
- Knowledge of permit-to-work procedures and safe energization/de-energization practices.
- Good troubleshooting ability for technical complaints and alarm-related issues.
- Diploma-level qualification.
- Excellent command of English.
