Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycles from feasibility studies through to delivery and handover across a variety of 3 Waters and infrastructure resilience projects including treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, and networks.
• Provide strong leadership and strategic oversight while also managing day-to-day project details such as issuing change instructions, conducting meetings, and maintaining clear communication with clients through accurate reporting.
• Manage complex stakeholder environments, ensuring coordination among design, technical teams and multiple project parties including handling project consenting processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• More than 8 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering, project delivery, or construction management, including experience as a consultant or client-side Project Manager on infrastructure projects.
• A qualification in a STEM field like Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management.
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel locally and regionally to project sites.
• Demonstrated experience delivering civil infrastructure projects at all stages, particularly 3 Waters asset projects; building project experience is advantageous.
• Proven leadership skills managing design and technical teams, and multiple stakeholders.
• Capability to critically assess ideas, resolve issues, and develop effective solutions.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with contract documentation, correspondence, and reporting, including familiarity with NZS3910/NZS3916 contracts as Engineer’s Representative.
• Strong understanding of New Zealand building regulations, legislation, and emphasis on health and safety practices.
