Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in Cable Maintenance to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a seasoned professional with over six years of experience focused on high-voltage underground cable systems. The ideal candidate will manage installation, testing, jointing, termination, and upkeep of 400/132kV underground cable infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform cable fault identification and resolution along with corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
Investigate and analyze technical issues affecting cable performance, implementing effective preventive strategies.
Manage and oversee routine and emergency maintenance schedules for transmission cables to ensure operational reliability.

Qualifications and Expertise

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering along with seven years of practical engineering experience in 400/132kV underground cable systems installation and maintenance.
Competence in cable fault location techniques, preventive maintenance measures, and technical problem analysis.
Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management Systems in accordance with safety standards.
Computer literacy with a preference for proficiency in SAP software applications.
