Senior Associate, Distribution Training

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Trainers in creating, developing, and delivering training programs tailored for the sales team.
• Emphasize foundational training focusing on the sales advisory process, compliance with regulatory standards (notably Fair Dealing Guidelines and Culture & Conduct), development of sales skills, and mastery of technical aspects such as underwriting and claims.
• Collaborate with external vendors to facilitate recruitment and onboarding, providing CMFAS tutorials to ensure new representatives thrive and pass industry qualification exams.
• Drive channel engagement initiatives aimed at encouraging adoption of updated processes, new guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor, assess, and report on effectiveness and outcomes of trainings conducted.
• Manage payment processes for services delivered by external training providers.
• Coordinate with the Competency Standards team to guarantee mandatory trainings are performed, tracked, and properly documented in alignment with standard operating procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced sales professional within the financial planning sector, supported by relevant certifications such as M5, M9, M9A, HI, M8, and M8A.
• A record of executing distribution-centric training programs successfully.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective information delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling development of productive relationships with various stakeholders.
