We invite experienced professionals to join us as Manager Operations in Kolkata, where you'll contribute significantly to our Asset Servicing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee performance management and ensure timely delivery of funds and client approvals to valuation teams.
• Provide regional support for various global products based on function or market.
• Drive standardization of Asset Servicing processes by sharing best practices across markets to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiencies.
• Support Fund Services across UK, Europe, and MENA regions for multiple clients, nurturing strong relationships with customer business areas, and pinpointing opportunities for service improvements.
• Manage complex processes involving multiple client and jurisdictional variations, while ensuring adherence to compliance and non-financial risk requirements as determined by line management.
• This is an individual contributor role without direct team supervision, responsible for handling varied manual processes specific to products, systems, clients, and jurisdictions.
• Maintain awareness of operational risks associated with the role and ensure appropriate escalation and mitigation protocols are followed.
• Functionally responsible across several jurisdictions served from the Kolkata MSS center.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent qualifications relevant to accounting, finance, or industry experience.
• Deep understanding of sub-processes, control points, and end-to-end process risks.
• Strong expertise in accounting principles with 3-5 years of relevant funds administration experience.
• Proficient knowledge of accounting systems such as ICON, Geneva, and Multifonds, along with familiarity with derivative instruments.
• Solid experience in Asset Servicing and comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Fund Accounting Model.
• Basic awareness of custody, brokerage, depository functions, investment accounting, mutual funds, and reconciliations.
• Efficient time management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Proactive in recognizing and addressing operational risk factors related to the role.
• Previous experience in custody, brokerage, fund services, or depository sectors is preferred.
• Knowledge of the NAV lifecycle process is essential.
