About NGHC
NGHC, a partnership between Air Products, ACWA Power, and NEOM, is spearheading a $8.4 billion green hydrogen-based ammonia production facility at NEOM, Saudi Arabia. Set for operation commencement in 2027, the project harnesses renewable solar, wind, and energy storage to produce green ammonia for worldwide export.
Position Overview
The Risk Manager leads the development and execution of Risk and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks at NGHC. This role provides advanced technical expertise, prepares consolidated risk reports for leadership, and ensures effective communication and compliance with Audit & Finance Committees, fostering timely resolution of internal audit findings.
Core Responsibilities
- Create and execute NGHC's Risk Management Framework and strategic approach.
- Set and communicate risk management standards across leadership and management levels.
- Track and enhance risk management effectiveness to improve NGHC’s overall risk profile.
- Offer leadership and tools supporting enterprise-wide risk management practices.
- Assist business in identifying risks impacting reputation, finances, operations, and safety.
- Compile comprehensive risk reports and mitigation strategies for top management including CEO and committees.
- Lead Business Continuity Management program ensuring policies comply with regulations and industry benchmarks.
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses and risk assessments contributing to preparedness planning.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners to align continuity tactics.
- Coordinate crisis management actions during disruptions and oversee recovery initiatives.
- Continuously refine business continuity plans through testing and executive feedback.
- Assure internal audit compliance by preparing related reports and facilitating prompt closure of findings.
- Maintain effective collaboration with Internal Audit and Finance Committees to monitor audit statuses and remedial actions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a comparable risk management role, with at least 3 years in managerial positions.
- Experience in multicultural settings is a must, ideally with exposure to the GCC region.
- Professional certifications such as Risk Management Professional (RMP), Institute of Risk Management (IRM), or equivalent.
- Preferred certification in Business Continuity (CBCI or equivalent).
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in designing and improving Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and documentation.
- Risk management expertise within large industrial sectors like Oil & Gas across complete asset life cycles.
- Strong knowledge of Business Continuity practices aligned with KSA regulations.
- Experienced risk assessment methodology application and compliance adherence.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Effective stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities.
- Leadership skills enabling team development and driving results.
- Ability to articulate complex technical details and present effectively to diverse audiences.
