Job Details

• Employment: Full-time or part-time
• Hourly wage: $15
• Payment frequency: Weekly

Responsibilities

• Clean all floor types via sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Properly use chemical cleaners and powered equipment to avoid floor and item damage
• Maintain restrooms, conference rooms, hallways, and entrances in clean condition
• Dispose of trash correctly, including use of compactors when necessary
• Clean glass surfaces such as windows, partitions, and mirrors using suitable cleaners and tools
• Spot clean carpets and assist with shampooing and extraction procedures
• Restock paper and sanitary products as needed
• Adhere to set housekeeping schedules
• Occasionally operate heavy-duty cleaning machines like scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Perform other duties as assigned based on client requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED or, alternatively, six months' janitorial work experience
• On-the-job training available
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous cleaning or janitorial work experience
• Knowledge of custodial procedures and commercial cleaning standards
• Experience with floor care including buffing and waxing
• Industrial cleaning or facility maintenance background
