Job Details
- Employment: Full-time or part-time
- Hourly wage: $15
- Payment frequency: Weekly
Responsibilities
- Clean all floor types via sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Properly use chemical cleaners and powered equipment to avoid floor and item damage
- Maintain restrooms, conference rooms, hallways, and entrances in clean condition
- Dispose of trash correctly, including use of compactors when necessary
- Clean glass surfaces such as windows, partitions, and mirrors using suitable cleaners and tools
- Spot clean carpets and assist with shampooing and extraction procedures
- Restock paper and sanitary products as needed
- Adhere to set housekeeping schedules
- Occasionally operate heavy-duty cleaning machines like scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
- Perform other duties as assigned based on client requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED or, alternatively, six months' janitorial work experience
- On-the-job training available
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous cleaning or janitorial work experience
- Knowledge of custodial procedures and commercial cleaning standards
- Experience with floor care including buffing and waxing
- Industrial cleaning or facility maintenance background
