Job Summary
As a Health Representative, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Pfizer's brand through a variety of sales and promotional activities, acting as the primary owner of a specified geographic territory.
Key Duties
- Promote Pfizer products to designated healthcare professionals to meet or exceed territory objectives.
- Execute value-added programs throughout your territory to enhance product visibility.
- Visit physicians to advocate for Pfizer products, distributing samples and marketing materials.
- Provide healthcare professionals with approved information about Pfizer products, including medical usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Accurately report visits and other activities using electronic customer management systems (ECMS).
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with targeted customers to deepen territory understanding and secure product endorsements that help drive sales.
- Capture and share timely, accurate, and pertinent customer insights with your team via agreed processes and systems.
- Identify and target high potential customers within your territory, focusing on key opinion leaders (KOLs) and selected physicians.
- Provide feedback to sales management regarding customer requests, promotional responses, product access, and competitor activity.
Territory Planning and Execution
- Analyze your territory to understand local market drivers and develop an effective action plan to achieve business goals.
- Prepare and implement a comprehensive Plan of Action (POA) for your territory and assigned products.
- Organize and manage regular value-added programs and audio-visual (AV) activities to support sales efforts.
- Provide reports as recommended by your Sales Manager and aligned with market needs.
Market Intelligence
- Gather and relay relevant competitor information and local issues to your team, management, and head office to enable appropriate strategic responses.
- Participate in regular sales, general, and cycle meetings to share market insight and updates.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with your territory team members, sharing information, offering motivation, and supporting one another to help fulfill the territory plan.
- Attend team meetings and exchange customer and territory knowledge with colleagues.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain and update territory records and administrative systems to ensure accurate data is always available.
- Produce reports as requested by your Sales Manager and adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Professional Growth
- Actively pursue personal development by implementing and updating your Individual Development Plan (IDP).
- Seek constructive feedback and take ownership of your career growth within your role.
Additional Assignments
Perform additional tasks as assigned by your line manager, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and outputs according to brief.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- Proficiency in English language skills including speaking, writing, listening, and pronunciation.
- Familiarity with relevant therapeutic areas and competitor products.
- Strong selling and presentation capabilities.
- Basic computer proficiency with applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
