Key Responsibilities

  • Install, route, and secure electrical power, control, and instrumentation cabling following project specifications and industry benchmarks.
  • Fabricate, fit, and maintain cable containment systems including trays, ladders, trunking, and conduit installations.
  • Execute glanding, termination, and wiring connections for power, control, and instrumentation cables.
  • Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and fault diagnosis to verify system integrity and adherence to standards.
  • Support commissioning and startup procedures for electrical systems and equipment.
  • Commission and resolve issues in instrumentation, programmable logic controller (PLC) systems, and related devices.
  • Perform scheduled and responsive electrical maintenance across industrial plants and company locations.
  • Operate safely within hazardous environments, including ATEX-classified zones.
  • Engage in electrical tasks spanning various industries such as gas, water, wastewater, renewable energy, and industrial sectors.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and internal procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Certified Electrician possessing an accredited electrical trade qualification.
  • Between 1 to 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience; recent graduates with pertinent industrial exposure are also considered.
  • Preferably experienced in industrial, utilities, manufacturing, water/wastewater, gas, energy, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning practices.
