Data Science Instructor

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Science Instructor based in Hazratganj, Lucknow, with a salary up to 8.5 LPA. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of practical experience in analytics, data science, and machine learning, using tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, and Power BI to solve business challenges. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields is preferred, although other backgrounds could be considered provided the overall profile is strong. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in education technology companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct learner training on data extraction, cleaning, modeling, and extracting actionable insights with a variety of analytical tools and technologies.
• Mentor learners to support their work on diverse data science projects through guidance and problem-solving assistance.
• Teach end-to-end problem-solving approaches with statistical techniques, coding, and modeling tools.
• Assist in grading, assessments, mock interviews, and collaborate closely with program managers and career services teams to prepare learners for industry roles.
• Run interview preparation workshops and contribute to placement support activities.
• Lead pilot projects that address real-world data science problems for clients using advanced statistical and modeling methods.
• Partner with Program Managers to identify enhancements for improved learner satisfaction and program quality.
• Work with the content development team for course upgrades and creation.
• Spend approximately half the time teaching learners and the balance supporting assessments and solving practical business problems for clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hands-on experience in analytics, data science, and machine learning with tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in statistical concepts and coding relevant to managing the analytics project lifecycle.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or closely related fields.
• Effective communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Prior experience in teaching or training within EdTech sectors is advantageous.
