Cleaning and Trolley Collection Associate

About the Role

Join Woolworths Group's Proactive Services team, dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized stores by ensuring all trolley needs are met and store areas are hygienically pristine. Work alongside colleagues to help customers and create a welcoming shopping environment every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily assigned cleaning activities including sweeping floors, washing walls, cleaning bathrooms, trolley bays, team rooms, and emptying bins.
• Collect trolleys by foot from parking lots and surrounding areas ensuring availability for customers.
• Collaborate with various departments to satisfy particular cleaning needs.
• Assist customers in-store by addressing inquiries or giving directions.
• Receive comprehensive training to operate equipment and tools for safety and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Possess enthusiasm for retail and a people-focused approach with ambitions to grow within the company.
• Maintain physical fitness; role requires standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights (5-10 kg).
• Capacity to work in diverse environments including shop floor, refrigerated/freezer areas, and outdoor car parks.
• Available for shifts across all seven days, with starting times as early as 6:00 AM or as late as 5:00 PM.
• Attention to detail and a strong standard for cleanliness.

Work Schedule Options

Example roster (flexible arrangements available):

• Monday: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Tuesday to Thursday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Friday: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM

Additional Information
