Candidate Requirements

• Availability during evenings and weekends is essential
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable handling knives and cleaning chemicals
• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or fast-food environment is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Check and validate the quality and quantity of incoming deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area following policy standards
• Organize storage areas to keep all supplies visible and accessible
• Collaborate with Line Cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Prepare produce and ingredients under management direction
• Ensure guests and staff have clean dishes and utensils to enhance satisfaction
• Dispose of garbage, compost, and recycling materials appropriately
• Break down boxes and containers for recycling purposes
• Help maintain exterior premises cleanliness by sweeping and shoveling snow when required
