Chemical Process Technician

Role Overview

As a Chemical Process Technician within our Production Department, you will oversee and execute the chemical manufacturing processes following the specified operational and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage various stages of chemical manufacturing operations, including the use of forklifts and stackers, adhering to work instructions and safety regulations.
• Support the Production Supervisor by identifying and resolving quality and process-related issues.
• Engage in batch processing as well as perform manual tasks within the work environment.
• Undergo training to become a member of the Emergency Response Team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or equivalent certification such as NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• Prior experience in a chemical plant setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) will be considered advantageous.
• Possession of a forklift driving license is a plus.
