Operating Technician Batchmaker

About the Role

As an Operating Technician Batchmaker for Sherwin-Williams in Singapore, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process, primarily responsible for pre-batching and blending raw materials to produce industrial or architectural colorants. You will operate various manufacturing machinery, maintain production records, and ensure both product quality and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Selecting and preparing raw materials needed for production batches
• Accurately measuring and staging materials per specified instructions
• Mixing and blending materials using high-speed mixers according to batch guidelines
• Making laboratory adjustments, managing quality samples, and maintaining material inventories
• Operating and monitoring paint manufacturing control systems, dispersers, pumps, valves, and forklifts
• Conducting quality checks on raw materials and finished goods
• Keeping production equipment logs and promptly reporting any maintenance needs
• Collaborating with various departments to meet production objectives
• Supporting and training team members, and offering ideas for process improvement
• Upholding safety protocols and ensuring a clean, organized workspace

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in Singapore without employment sponsorship, now or in the future
• Prior experience (at least 1 year preferred) in manufacturing, operating machinery, and using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Experience with batch processes, monitoring machinery, or ensuring raw material quality is advantageous
