Role Overview
This full-time Bid and Proposal Writer position, based in Ireland, operates on a hybrid work model combining office and remote workdays. The role focuses on creating comprehensive, high-quality tender submissions, proposals, and responses to RFPs that meet client specifications and reflect the company's service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting and analysing bid documentation thoroughly.
- Partnering with subject matter experts to obtain both technical and commercial insights.
- Composing clear, compelling written content to effectively convey proposals.
- Managing submission schedules to ensure proposals are delivered on time and in compliance with requirements.
- Maintaining and updating a repository of standardized content and templates for future bids.
- Driving ongoing enhancements in the proposal development processes.
- Contributing to strategic elements such as bid strategies and win-themes.
- Collaborating closely with business development and operations teams to support overarching company objectives.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Experienced in managing proposals and coordinating RFP processes, with a strong focus on organisation and compliance.
- Proficient in composing persuasive and accurate proposals and technical documentation tailored to client demands.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams and articulate complex information clearly.
- Preferably experienced in tendering or bidding within the service, construction, or related fields.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational capability, and the aptitude to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Possession of a relevant third-level qualification in fields such as English, Communications, Business, or similar, including familiarity with common office and collaboration software tools.
- Previous roles in bids, proposals, or business development and knowledge of public sector or major corporate procurement processes are advantageous.
