Primary Responsibilities

• Based in Metricon's stylish Robina office, support the development, management, and evolution of product home designs.
• Collaborate closely with Product Designers and cross-functional teams to assist in both new and existing design concepts.
• Assist in preparing and documenting home designs, including floorplans, facades, site plans, internal layouts, and various design options, ensuring accuracy and alignment with briefs and schedules.
• Support product management tasks across current and new home designs.
• Work collaboratively to meet project deadlines and deliver outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Metricon's product offerings and design principles, while staying informed on relevant building codes, standards, and approval processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong passion for residential design and enhancing living environments.
• Relevant qualification in Building Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• At least three years' experience in a design or drafting role.
• Experience in volume residential building is highly valued.
• Proficiency in Revit or similar CAD software.
• Sound understanding of building codes and planning regulations.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
